On Friday, June 10, 2016, at approximately 5:33 p.m., Wesley Aaron Arp was taken into custody by members of the Knoxville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and charged with Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Certain Sexual Conduct, a Class E Felony. Arp was arrested as he arrived at a location to engage in sexual acts with a 14-year-old female.

Members of KPD’s Special Crimes Unit and the Violence Reduction Team assisted with the arrest. Arp is currently being held at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a $10,000 bond.
