On May 3, 2016, at approximately 2:50 p.m., John Hicks was taken into custody for Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Certain Sexual Conduct (Class E Felony) after an investigation by the Knoxville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

Hicks agreed to engage in sexual acts with a 15-year-old male juvenile and was taken into custody without incident after Mr. Hicks drove to a location to meet the juvenile.
